BTC Markets, the largest digital assets exchange in Australia, has announced its support of professional tennis player Ajla Tomljanovic for the Australian Open and Sydney Tennis Classic events taking place this month.
In a Tuesday announcement, BTC Markets announced that it will back Tomljanovic in partnership with increased investor activity from female investors during the previous financial year. Users of the crypto exchange will be able to win tournament tickets and a meeting with the tennis star using a nonfungible token that demonstrates their presence.
BTC Markets, a cryptocurrency broker founded in 2013, has more than 325,000 customers in Australia who have transacted over $14.3 billion through the platform. The exchange announced in November that it will be adding financial experts Garry Duursma and David Raper as senior advisers to its board, with the aim of growing the market.
